Chester Playhouse After School Program Spring 2012

Registration date is Feb. 20th at 7:00pm at the Theatre
DVD's of the performance are $18.00 and must be paid in advance

March Break Theatre Work Shop 
Cost per child per program = $150.00

                This class is designed for those actors just thinking about or discovering theatre and those well on the way to achieving stardom.
                Class meets daily 9am -3pm Monday March 12 to Friday March 16 and ends in performance that afternoon.

Acting for  4-6 year olds
Cost per child per program = $250.00

                This class is designed for pre and non readers and focuses on team work, creativity, physical expression and storytelling.
                Class meets Thursdays 3-4:30 and Saturday 10-12:30 beginning  March 22nd  and ending in performance Saturday May 5th at 11am.
               
Acting for 7-9 year olds

                This class explores the playful and exuberant nature of theater, the focus is to bring the words of the story to life using theatre skills and working as a group.
                Class meets Tuesdays 3-5:30 beginning March 20th  and ends with performance Tuesday June 12th (school performance Tuesday June 5th)

                This class is for the actor who has stage experience and older actors looking to improve their stage craft. Rehearsals will focus on character development and text interpretation.
                Class meets Wednesdays from 3-5:30 beginning March 21st  and ending in performance  Wednesday June 13th (School performance Wednesday June 6th)

Acting for 13-18 year olds

                This is class is completely collaborative; designed for personal growth and creative expression within the support of the group. Actors will work with established and original text.
                *Actors must be self motivated; take the initiative to work outside of class, and will be expected to contribute.
